About Croydon Clearance Crew

A local rubbish removal service run by the person who turns up. No call centre and no subcontractors. You get a straight answer and a fair price, and the job gets done properly.

Who you're dealing with

The same person quotes it and clears it

Croydon Clearance Crew is a Croydon business, and it's owner-run. When you message for a price, you're talking to the person who'll actually turn up and clear the job, rather than a call handler reading off a screen or a subcontractor who's been sold your job.

That's the whole point of how we work. You get a price you can trust because the person quoting it is the person doing it, and the job gets done properly because their name is on it. Simple, and increasingly rare in this trade.

How we got here

Most people who call us have been let down before. Quoted one price and charged another, or left waiting in for a van that never came.

That's the reputation this trade has, and it's exactly what Croydon Clearance Crew was set up to be the opposite of. Turn up when you say. Charge what you quoted. Do the lifting. Leave the place tidy. It's not complicated, but doing it every single time is what's earned us straight fives on Google.

What we do with your rubbish

We don't just tip everything in a hole. When we clear a job, it comes back to be sorted. Anything still usable goes for reuse or to a charity where we can, wood and metal and green waste get separated for recycling, and only what's genuinely finished with goes for proper disposal at a licensed facility.

It matters for two reasons. One, it's the right thing to do. Two, when you hand your waste to someone, you've got a legal duty of care to make sure it's dealt with properly. So if you'd like a waste transfer note as proof, just ask and it's yours.

Insured, and straight with you

We're fully insured, so you and your property are covered while we're working. There are a few hazardous things we're not able to carry, like asbestos, chemicals or gas bottles. If your job includes something we can't take, we'll tell you honestly up front and point you the right way, rather than take your money and leave you with a problem.

Questions people ask

Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured, so you and your property are covered while we're on the job. If you'd like to see it before we come, just ask.
What happens to the waste you take?
We sort it. Anything with life left in it goes for reuse or to charity where we can, and the rest is recycled or taken to a licensed transfer station. Very little of what we carry ends up in landfill.
Can I get a waste transfer note?
Yes, on request. It's your proof that your rubbish was taken away by someone who handled it properly. Worth having, especially for trade and business jobs where you've got a duty of care.
