The honest version

A fixed price, worked out from your photo

Most people have been quoted one thing over the phone and charged another when the van turns up. We don't work like that. Send us a photo of what you need gone and your postcode, and we'll send back a single, fixed price before we've gone anywhere near your driveway.

We price by how much room the job takes up in the van. That's the fairest way to do it: a couple of bin bags cost a couple of bin bags, and a full house costs a full house. You're never paying for space you don't use, and you're never paying for a skip that turns up half empty.

Cheaper than a skip, and a lot less faff

People reach for a skip out of habit, but for most clear-outs it's the slow, expensive option.

A skip means booking a delivery, often a permit if it's going on the road, and then it sits outside your house for days while you do all the lifting yourself. You pay for the whole skip whether you fill it or not, and half of it usually ends up as fresh air.

With us, there's no permit, no waiting, and nothing blocking your drive. We turn up, load everything by hand from wherever it's sitting, and you only pay for the space it actually takes in the van. You don't lift a thing, there's no hire period to pay for, and it usually works out cheaper too.

Questions about pricing

Do you charge to come and look?

No. There's no call-out fee and no charge to quote. You send a photo, we send a price. If it's not for you, that's absolutely fine. It hasn't cost you a penny.

How do you work out the price?

By how much room your rubbish takes up in the van, judged from your photo. It's the fairest way to do it, because you pay for the space you actually use rather than a flat fee or a half-empty skip.

Are there any hidden fees?

None. The price we send on WhatsApp is the price you pay. There's no surcharge for stairs or parking, and nobody's adding it up on your driveway. If anything changes the job on the day, we'll talk to you before we touch it.

Is there VAT on top?

No VAT is added to the price you're quoted. The number you see is the number you pay, all in.

Is it cheaper than hiring a skip?

Very often, yes, and always less hassle. There's no permit to arrange, nothing sitting on the road for a week, and no paying for a skip that ends up half air. We only charge for the space your rubbish actually fills, and we do the loading.

How do I pay, and when?

Once the job's done and you're happy. Most people pay by card or bank transfer, cash is fine too, and we'll sort the details when we book you in.
